Okay, we’re all getting sick of being asked the same questions 50 times- it makes the mods snarky towards our followers, which I don’t like to do. So this is a FAQ post. The link to this can be found on the bottom of our tumblr page, and from now on I will just refer people to this post instead of answering those questions for the 500th time. If you think something needs to be added, just ask us a question (the link is below)! We’ll be updating this constantly!
Do you accept all submissions? How do you decide which photos to post?
In the past, yes we did. However, we now have criteria in place and do filter submissions. The criterion are:
- Images must be in focus.
- Images must be oriented properly.
- Time/Date stamp must not be present.
- Images must have proper exposure
Images not following these will not be posted.
How many photographs can I submit?
You can submit two photographs a day. If more than two are submitted, the first two will be accepted and the rest deleted. You can submit more photographs after 24 hours.
How do I submit?
Go here. We only accept photographs, and highly recommend you provide a click through link to your tumblr/flickr/whatever else. Feel free to provide links to your website in the description. We want to give you all the credit you deserve.
What if the link doesn’t work?
That means that we’ve been experiencing a large influx of submissions and the queue is full. In such a scenario, the submit function is deactivated temporarily and will be turned back on before too long. Please refrain from asking us about it and be patient.
What’s this ask us anything thing?
That is right here. We do not allow anonymous questions. Ask us questions about whatever you’d like, anything from technique to suggestions, opinions, even personal questions! Just remember that we’re not experts. We’ll try our best to help you out, but if we’re completely at a loss, I’ll turn your post into a question to see if any of our members can help you out!
What’s with the prompts?
Our photography prompts are simply ways to boost creativity, and see different viewpoints on a single theme. We post one up every Thursday. We keep links to the past five prompts on the sidebar, and accept submissions for each prompt at all times! Each submission related to the prompts are tagged accordingly.
As of late, we have not had any prompts posted for one reason or another.
Can I submit any photography or just pieces related to the prompts?
Please submit any and all photography! The prompts are just a fun way to inspire people!

How do I include a click-through link?
When submitting a post there’s an option at the bottom of the page that says ‘set a click-through link’ click this, and there will be a place to provide a link. This way, when you click on the picture it will redirect to your page.
Can you reblog from my personal tumblr instead of me submitting?
Nope. We occasionally reblog photographs of cameras we find on other tumblrs, or interesting quotes/links we see around. We won’t follow you and reblog, sorry.
Will you check out my tumblr/flickr?
Some people send us links to their personal sites through the ask us anything feature. Please stop doing this! Sure, we might take a look if we have the time, but we’re not going to take the time to post your photographs, and we’re certainly not going to just share the link with no attached photograph.
Why haven’t you posted my submission? I’ve submitted my photograph and waited a few days and still don’t see it!
Keep in mind that we get 100+ submissions per day. We add every post to our queue, which usually has about 300 posts in it at all times. Usually photos are posted every 15 minutes, sometimes Tumblr messes up and the queue does whatever it feels like. Just be patient, it can take up to 2 weeks for your submission to be posted. As stated above members can only submit two photographs a day. We will accept the first two and delete the rest. If you followed the rules and have waited a week and a half to two weeks and still have not seen your submission, it likely did not meet the submission criteria.

Absolutely. We keep all content PG-13!

The basis of this blog is that we are submission based. The photographs included here are a a compilation of the photography of our followers!
